I become a temporary script-editor collaborating on:
* Stand-up material
* Sketches
* Sitcom scenes
All resulting edits, rewrites, lines etc yours to freely use.
Around 10 minutes of stand-up, 5 sketches, or sitcom scenes.
How it works
* You submit some material and brief me on where you're at with it.
* I go through it.
* I talk over my thoughts and we brainstorm ideas with you. (Face-to-face or phone call).
* I provide detailed notes, suggested rewrites/ edits/ and look at restructuring the material.
* You then work on it and I go over it again.
* You reach a finalised vesion.
This has proved a highly useful process for all sorts of writers. Quite often people then simply use the new version, but what can also happen is that they find a hybrid between their original and my version. Either way, it can really help push on material or get through a block.
