INTERNET RADIO SKETCH SHOW COURSE

Join a small online group to study and write radio sketches that will be professionally recorded in London at the end of the process. The group will go through online tutorials and will be set writing tasks. Scripts will be shared amongst the group online and will be script-edited by the tutor. Amongst the topics we will consider are sketch structure, styles and techniques.
* We will look at comedy techniques and devices used in classic radio comedy shows, from the Goons to Mitchell & Webb.
* There will be exercises to inspire your own writing.
* We will hone and develop work you put online.
* There will be the opportunity to work collaboratively in writing too.
The resulting sketches will be professionally recorded with experienced comedy sketch performers. And there is the opportunity for writers to be involved in the recording if they can make it to London.
