* Gain ideas and inspiration into how to move the act forward
* Get personalised, specialised career advice
* Get in front of the queue of acts wanting to be seen by Geoff Whiting
* Get gigs
The stand-up market is hugely competitive and this course gives a cast iron guarantee to participants that you will be seen performing twice in three weeks to Geoff Whiting who books acts at all levels – from new comers to established professionals - for 100 clubs nationwide and internationally. You have two opportunities to perform in front of Geoff, Chris and the group. Once in the first session and again in the third session.
Based on these performances, you will receive personalised, individual feedback on honing your act from Geoff and Chris Head, as well as the many proven benefits of utilising Chris' skills as a coach and mentor. Previous participants have made great progress in sharpening their act and moving forward:
* from newer acts that are getting regular spots now
* to more established acts that have broken through to being regularly paid
* and existing professional acts who have been sharpened and put at the top of Geoff's list
"We have had some really excellent results with previous candidates, many of whom are now
doing regular paid work at the Mirth Control Clubs, some of whom picked up
Edinburgh Preview shows last year at the Mirth Clubs and others who went
from doing unpaid spots to the paid tens at the Mirth clubs after the
course.
The huge advantage for me is that I get to see you doing your set twice in a
three week period, and get to discuss the set with you and Chris, break it
down and look at your stuff, offer advice and then help guide you on the
best path to a professional career." GEOFF WHITING
