- Through my company Silver Comedy we are running the Die Laughing Silver Stand-up of the Year competition for entrants aged 55+ at the Leicester Comedy Festival.
- Graduate of my stand-up course Sunil Patel has won the Reading Comedy Festival new act competiton. Another graduate Kelly Kingham is storming his regular paid gigs and making waves on the live circuit. And another previous student Matt Parker is being regularly directed by me and is currently appearing with Robin Ince at Bloomsbury Theatre.
- I directed two shows for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011 - Tony Bournemouth: Bournemouth's All Time Second Greatest Comedian and The End of the World Show. I have a number of shows forthcoming for Edinburgh 2012.
- Two stand-ups I have worked with - John Pendal and Sunil Patel - are in the finals of So You Think You're Funny at Edinburgh this year. And Ed Caruana is in the finals of the Amused Moose competition.

- Three of my stand up students got to the semi-finals of So You Think You're Funny in Edinburgh.
- I led a course for older comedy performers with Silver Comedy and Capital Age Festival that led to a live sketch show being recorded at City Hall on the South Bank.Click here to listen to the podcast that resulted.
- I successfully developed ex-Sun editor Kelvin Mckenzie's stand up comedy delivery for a TV show and worked with a new stand up named Simon Jenkins for a Channel 4 show. See TV in Media Coverage.
