If you are serious about developing a career in stand up comedy, and are already gigging, then these workshop sessions will:

* Hone and refine your act
* Give you direction and momentum
* Give you personalised, specialised advice on moving your career forward

* Get you gigs

With Chris Head, stand up comedy tutor and director with over 10 years experience working on enhancing acts and performances for the London comedy circuit and the Edinburgh and Melbourne festivals.


And Geoff Whiting, act booker for 80 comedy clubs nationwide, over 10 years as a stand up with 4000 stand up gigs under his belt, compere and specialist in developing new acts and careers.

Small group guaranteed for close individual attention. Maximum group size = 8.

DAY 1

Warm up and perform your acts for Chris and Geoff. 10 minute sets.
Detailed feedback on: Performance, material and potential.
Work with Chris developing the acts.

Acts develop their set during the week.

DAY 2
Show revised acts. Further feedback from Geoff and Chris

Honing lines and gags with Chris
Work with Geoff on career development. How to move to the next level, rooms you should be playing, contacts you should make, ways forward.

Acts then get gigs at the nationwide Mirth Control comedy clubs.
